Change is the one constant that every living thing can rely on without a doubt; and yet, we often exhibit a tendency of expecting people to stay fixed, to stay who they were when we met them, or sometimes, where we left them.
It’s why being around family or old friends you haven’t seen for a while can act as a sort of magnetic time travel, trying to pull you back to a former you. But you’ve grown… and they’ve grown; you can’t really go back, to try would simply be clinging to the memories of moments passed.
