What to Expect:
Together, we co-create a supportive and judgment-free space for freedom of expression both physically and emotionally. All bodies are welcome as we move together, setting personal and collective intentions for healing, celebration, and connection.
Before we begin, we’ll open the space with collective breath and intention setting, inviting you to fully drop into your body. Whether you're new to Ecstatic Dance or a returning dancer, this ceremony helps ground you, preparing you for the transformative experience ahead.

BE Present – No phones, no cameras on the dance floor.
BE Embodied – No talking on the dance floor.
BE Consensual – Honor personal boundaries. Listen for a Yes, respect a No.

Sarah Schaefgen
Sarah Schaefgen is a co-founder of Sacred Ally, visionary guide, and passionate embodiment facilitator who believes in the transformational power of movement. Her journey began in 2001 with a deep curiosity about energy and the subtle forces that shape our lives. Over time, this curiosity expanded beyond the realm of healing into the rich, expressive world of dance—where the body becomes a sacred vessel for release, remembrance, and joy.
Sarah’s path has been shaped by her studies in Massage, energy work, Shamanic practices, Sacred Earth Medicines, Visionary Breathwork, and Spiritual Mentorship, but it is through ecstatic dance and movement ritual that she has found her soul’s truest expression. For Sarah, dance is medicine—an ancient language that speaks directly to the spirit and awakens the inner flame of authenticity.
As a co-creator of Sacred Ally alongside her husband Peter, Sarah is devoted to holding intentional, heart-centered spaces where people can reconnect with their innate wisdom through movement, breath, and rhythm. Whether on the dance floor or in ceremonial space, she weaves energy, presence, and play into every offering—inviting others to return to the center of their being and embody their most empowered selves.
