Group Kambo Ceremony

What is Kambo?

Kambo is a powerful, sacred medicine derived from the secretion of the Phyllomedusa bicolor frog, traditionally used by various Indigenous tribes of the Amazon for physical, energetic, and spiritual purification. Revered as a warrior medicine, Kambo was originally used to cleanse the body, sharpen the senses, and remove "panema"—a term referring to dark or stagnant energy, depression, and spiritual blockages. Today, it is honored globally as a deeply transformative tool for detoxification, energetic alignment, and emotional clearing.

In this group ceremony, you will be held in a safe, sacred, and trauma-informed container where the spirit of Kambo can be received with respect and reverence. Kambo works quickly and powerfully, activating the body's natural healing intelligence to clear out toxins, reset the immune and nervous systems, and support emotional and energetic release. While the experience can be intense, it is also deeply empowering—offering a chance to shed what no longer serves and reconnect with vitality, clarity, and inner strength.

What to Expect:

We begin with an opening circle to set clear intentions and ground into the energy of the medicine. Each participant will receive Kambo in a traditional way—applied to small burns on the surface of the skin, allowing the secretion to enter the lymphatic system. The purge process, which may include sweating, shaking, emotional release, or vomiting, typically lasts 20–40 minutes and is closely monitored by an experienced facilitator. The experience itself can be quite uncomfortable but it is manageable and most report that the discomfort is well worth the benefits. Afterward, participants spend time resting and then enjoy some nourishment with time to share and connect if desired.

Kambo is not psychedelic, but it is a deeply somatic and energetic experience. It is important to approach this ceremony with humility, readiness, and a willingness to listen to your body.

Common Benefits Reported:

  • Deep detoxification of the liver, gut, blood, and lymph

  • Strengthened immune function and resilience

  • Relief from depression, anxiety, and emotional heaviness

  • Heightened clarity, focus, and energy

  • Increased connection to self, intuition, and life purpose

  • Removal of stagnant, dense, or disharmonious energy

  • Recalibration of the nervous system and emotional body

What to Bring:

  • Empty stomach – Please fast for at least 8–10 hours prior (no food, supplements, or caffeine).

  • 3 liters of clean purified water – You will be guided to drink water right before receiving Kambo.

  • Comfortable clothing – Wear loose, cozy layers with access to the upper arm, clothes you can easily move or sweat in. Bring an extra set of clothes with you.

  • Journal (optional) – For recording any insights, visions, or emotions that arise after the ceremony.

IMPORTANT:
Kambo is not suitable for everyone. You will be required to complete a thorough health intake to ensure safety. This includes reviewing your health history and current medications. If you are pregnant, nursing, have certain cardiovascular conditions, or are taking specific medications, Kambo may not be appropriate.

  • You will fill out the health intake during your registration process

  • If you do not hear from the facilitator, everything in your health intake is good to go.

  • If there are any contraindications found or questions, the facilitator will be in touch with you prior to your session.

This ceremony is a sacred invitation to clear what no longer serves and step forward with renewed energy, clarity, and intention. Come as you are—we are honored to hold this space with you.
