What Is Craniosacral Therapy?

CranioSacral Therapy is a gentle, hands-on method of evaluating and enhancing the functioning of the physiological craniosacral system, which is comprised of the membranes and cerebrospinal fluid that surround and protect the brain and spinal cord. Using a soft touch to release restrictions in the sacrum, spine, and cerebrum, craniosacral therapy has been shown to improve the functioning of the central nervous system, as well as digestive, musculoskeletal, respiratory, and circulatory systems.  Craniosacral therapy has also been shown to help with the physical components related to Post Traumatic Stress, depression and anxiety.

Meet Sara

Sara has had a love for the human body for as long as she can remember. She studied kinesiology at Georgia Southern University and then went on to become a licensed massage therapist and craniosacral practitioner.  Working through her own physical injuries, she learned the importance of taking care of all aspects of her being: spiritual, emotional, and physical.  She deeply cares for others and seeks to be a guide for people to discover their own healing powers through a deeper connection to their physical body. She believes massage and craniosacral work, along with other modalities, like breath work, yoga, and meditation are great tools to allow this deeper connection to Self.  In her free time she enjoys hiking in the nearby mountains with her pup and cooking with loved ones.
