Embodied Movement & Yoga Classes

Movement as Presence, Not Performance

At Sacred Ally, Embodied Movement Classes are our home for yoga, gentle movement, and somatic offerings designed to support nervous system regulation, embodied awareness, and connection to the body as it is — not as it “should be.”

These classes are held in our beautiful, open community space and are intentionally accessible, grounded, and human. Whether you’re new to movement, returning after a break, or seeking something softer and more intentional, every body is welcome here.

What Are Embodied Movement Practices?

Embodied Movement Practices include a range of offerings such as:

  • Kundalini Yoga

  • Ashtanga Yoga

  • Vin Yin & Restorative Yoga

  • Gentle Morning Movement & Stretch

  • Somatic Flow & Nervous System Reset

  • Moon-aligned and seasonal movement offerings

While the modalities may differ, all classes share a common foundation:

  • Presence over performance

  • Listening over pushing

  • Regulation over intensity

  • Care for the whole being

This is not a fitness program or a traditional yoga studio environment.
It is movement held in relationship — with your body, your breath, and the space around you.

Our Space

Classes take place in Sacred Ally’s open community space during daytime and early evening hours. The space is alive and shared — you may hear gentle sounds from the shop or cacao bar. Many find this grounding and human; others find it a beautiful reminder that practice does not need to be isolated from life.

What to Expect

  • Pre-registration strongly encouraged even with membership

  • Classes range from 60–90 minutes

  • Small group sizes

  • Trauma-informed, consent-based facilitation

  • Bring yoga mat, water bottle and come as you are

You do not need prior experience, flexibility, or strength to attend.
You only need a willingness to show up as you are with a desire for self care.
