Friday, October 23rd, Sacred Ally invites you to gather as Luke Rain leads us through the full wave of the ecstatic dance arc. From an ambient arrival, building to full send peaks, and rolling back down to blissful integration, through the 5 rhythms of flowing, staccato, chaotic, lyrical and stillness. Luke Rain has DJ’ed hundreds of ecstatic waves at dozens of ecstatic venues from Seattle to San Diego, from Colorado to Hawaii and beyond, so come tap into the movement music medicine with a highly experienced ecstatic DJ. He will be live crafting the set to perfectly tailor it to the energy of our space and moment, so whatever energy you bring will help co-create the journey!

Our Ecstatic Dance events are a heart-forward, substance-free, judgment-free container where you are invited to fully express, release, and align with your authentic form of movement—through the language of the body. This is a space where all bodies, all emotions, and all ways of being are welcome. You do not need to “know how to dance”. This is a space to give yourself permission to explore how your body wishes to move.

You’ll leave feeling more connected to your body, your spirit, and the collective heartbeat of the community.

Our Dance Guidelines:

BE Present – No phones, no cameras on the dance floor.

BE Embodied – No talking on the dance floor. Expressive sounds, tones and emotional release is welcome.

BE Consensual – Honor personal boundaries. Listen for a Yes, respect a No.

BE Clear – No intoxicants on the dance floor.

BE Free – Dance how you want to. No judgment.

This is your time to drop into sensation, feeling, and freedom. Let your mind take the backseat, and let your body lead the way.

Meet Luke

Luke Rain makes cool, refreshing, bassy drops and brings the drip like a hip hop hippie. In both his DJ sets and his production Luke is able to bend and blend genres across the musical spectrum, flowing effortlessly between bass and hip hop, electronic and organic, left field and pop appeal. He finds himself equally at home at a festival, rave, renegade campout or ecstatic dance. A skilled professional DJ with years of experience behind the decks, Luke crafts unique, eclectic sets that allow dancers to flow, move energy and feel embodied. He plays from his extensive library of his favorite tracks across many musical styles, as well as songs he produced for heart centered musicians in the ecstatic community and his own growing catalog of originals, remixes and mash ups.

Tickets are non-refundable. However you may graciously send someone else in your spot if something should come up.
