Meet Rhapsody and Brian

They met on Maui, Hawaii in early 2020, where guitar and vocals divinely intertwined in a way that fed each other, and opened each other’s musical channels deeper than ever before. The pair grew closer together and a beautiful union was born that they birthed their music through, connected with their devotion to truth, heartfelt beauty, and the purity of nature. Today, HighersElves are a mystical forest folk duo inspired by the beauty of the natural world. Their music is often described as soothing, enchanting & uplifting to the soul. Rhapsody’s sweet, ethereal voice and lyrics paired with Brian’s heart-inspired guitar aim to reach hearts and remind people of their wholeness, and of the natural beauty of life.

HighersElves are very passionate about being a voice for Mother Earth, and bringing light and encouragement to those who need it. HighersElves are often compared to the sound and energy of Of Monsters & Men, The Paper Kites, Enya, and Aurora - with the raw energy and passion of bands like Evanescence and the Cranberries. Light, whimsical acoustic often meets passionate, energetic catharsis in HighersElves' music.
