The Menopause Map
November — Mood, Grief & Identity Shifts
In perimenopause, the emotional weight we carry isn't just in our heads—it lives in our hormones and hearts. As progesterone and estrogen fluctuate, they strip away the padding that once softened life's blows, leaving us raw, irritable, or grieving versions of ourselves we thought we'd outgrown. When you layer in the natural identity shifts of midlife—changing bodies, roles, capacities—the question 'who am I now?' can feel both existential and hormonal.
This month, we're honoring that collision instead of pathologizing it. We're moving away from fixing and toward genuine nervous system support. Our idea practice is twofold: normalize the emotional waves as part of the transition, and open the conversation around hormonal support—not as a crutch, but as a compassionate way to steady yourself while you navigate the storm.
What to Expect:
You are invited to pull up a chair (or a yoga mat, or a cozy blanket) and join us for an honest, judgment-free conversation about (peri)menopause.
This is not a lecture. It's a gathering of women who are tired of being told "just relax" and are ready for real answers and real support. Together, we'll unpack the "hormone chatter" you hear online, translate the science into plain English, and leave you with one gentle, doable practice.
Come as you are—tired, frustrated, hopeful, or all of the above.
What to Bring:
Your curiosity: Bring your questions about the topic and what's happening in your body.
A journal and pen: We'll have moments for reflection and note-taking.
Something cozy: A favorite mug for tea or cacao, a soft blanket, or comfy socks. We're creating a space where you can physically feel safe and at ease.
An open heart: This is a space free of judgment. Your story is welcome here.
