R-BDSM-T
A Conversation About Sexual Health
R-BDSM-T is a way to talk about sexual health with another human. A conversation to have before you take the plunge.
What to Expect:
R : relationship.
B : boundaries.
D : desires.
S : sexual health.
M : meaning.
T : trauma.
If you find yourself attracted to another human - and that attraction is mutual - using R-BDSM-T as a guide to talk about all the things, can be very empowering and helpful to facilitate taking your feelings to the next level, physically.
Are you in a relationship? What is your relationship style? What are your hard "no's"? What are your enthusiastic "yes'es"? Have you ever been tested for an SDI? How often? What were the results? What will this interaction mean for you? For me? Are you aware of any sexual trauma that you are willing to share? Is now the best time to share?
R-BDSM-T helps us to normalize talking about sex and sexual health with a potential new partner or partners.
How do we get good at talking about all this? We practice, practice, practice!
We will take the time we need to actually practice using this powerful conversation structure together - human to human.
How to Prepare:
Be prepared to get out of your comfort zone, share, be vulnerable, explore, and have FUN!
Wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothing.
Bring a water bottle. There are some yoga mats and blankets available at the venue.
Optional: bring a journal for post-session reflections.
Arrive early to settle in and consider your intentions for the workshop. Especially if you’re looking to purchase a cacao to have for the event.
